Why Choose Zebu?

All of our mini cattle are handled regularly. We cater to urban farms, petting zoos, and other zebu enthusiasts. Two of our own Zebu can be found at Creekside Petting Zoo in Copperhill, TN!! Zebu are generally calm, friendly, disease resistant, and heat tolerant. Over the past few years, we’ve begun to see mini zebu in zoos. Petting zoos have been adding zebu as an addition to the wonderful assortment of fun animals for kids to interact with. We train some of our zebu for this type of environment because we want others to enjoy the experience of these special creatures. Some businesses also use mini zebu for kids parties, events, 4H, FFA, and other livestock shows. All of our zebu are registered through the International Miniature Zebu Association (IMZA).

Urban farmers that only have a small amount of land can plop down 2 or 3 of these mini zebu in place of 1 large cow! Urban farmers can have a small herd to breed and sell calves! They are much easier to handle also. I am in my 50’s and wanted something easy to handle. We discovered mini zebu at a petting zoo in Florida. A couple of months later we were the proud owners of our first 2 miniature zebu! The rest is history…………
